OK so driving a long late last night and I bumped into an old friend of mine who recently bought a 2008 911 Carrera 4S
We had a quick play, I was thinking I will probably loose this….we both floored it from 50 and we were side by side for a good few seconds and then my 32 started pulling away...
Im going to have a look at a car tomorrow that a friend is interested in buying. The Russian MB VIN site threw this code up which Ive never seen before and googling is no help:
997 stationary car for use on exhibition (body and engine made ready for exhibition) (с 01.01.1962)
Just curious...
picked it up earlier this afternoon from chiswick porsche and drove back to the west end.
very very nice car. the 997 interior is in a different league to 996 and previous...but I must be spoilt.
It just doesn't do anything that the SL60 doesn't do (though I appreciate it is a much more...
spent a few afternoons driving the family 997 Carrera S in Spain this past week. Sweet Mother that thing is fast......really is the supercar of choice for under 100k
The AMGs would not keep up with it on a twisting mountain road.
