Im looking to replace my W211 with yes another W211 e class. Been looking at few adverts and am i right in thinking if the car has an aerial on the roof it will have telephone pre wire?

I need a new (or working used) electric aerial for a 1994 W124 estate but am having difficulty finding the right part number to find one on any parts websites. ANyone point me in the right direction, or is it possible to bring a dead one back to life?

The electric aerial doesn't function. It's permanently stuck up. It makes a noise like a stuck motor when I switch the radio on or off. Is it a common problem, with a simple fix, or any ideas on how to get an original replacement? Many thanks, Howard
