Does anyone know what type of tape is used to stick the rubber arches onto the bodywork? Is it the thin type of tape (like strong double sided selotape) or the foam/gel type of tape? I have my set of arches and am going to stick them on. I have some VHB (very high bond) gel type tape...

I know the 2002 W211 era was a tough one for build quality, however did I read Mercedes offer a 10year warranty on bodywork? If so, could I get the 'spottings' of rust dealt with under warranty still? Best, Iain

I've got a pair of rear wheel arches taken off a 500E. The inner skin is rusty but the outer is good. Left over from a previous project. Very hard to find, took me over a year. Pics available by email. £299

My CLK has got a set of 18" AMG reps fitted. The front wheels fill out the arches very nicely, however, the rears just don't sit right to me. I know a staggered set up would mean wider rear tyres but I've not got staggered wheel sizes. Are spacers an option for me to help fill out the rear...
