Hi Does anyone know what bulbs are used in the boot lid? Looking to replace with LEDs but wanted to ask before I take the boot to bits.

Morning all, I have woken up this morning to a malfunction display on the trip computer, stating that I have a Xeon bulb out Aaahhh! Can I just pop into halfords and grab one of the shelf? Can I fit it myself? If the answers no, does any one know we're I can get it sorted.?:thumb:

I have to replace some bulbs on my 04 CLK and had a good read up on here about peoples experiences with LED bulbs. Are they really much brighter than a standard bulb (I dont have Xenon's) and surly if they were it would mean they are not road legal? I see you can also buy "super white" bulbs...
