I need a bit of help, is a W209 mirror the same as a A209 mirror? I need to replace the auto dimming driver side mirror that has failed with a standard heated mirror, but i seem to be having problems with part numbers Any help welcome

Hi, Just got a nice CLK500 and this is my first post on here, i've read the manual and searched on here to try and find out what this white lever is inside the lower section of the front arm rest, it doesn't seem to do anything but it must do Any ideas?

Roof won't go down, It gets to the stage that the bow (rear window section) goes vertical, metal hatch goes up, bow comes down to horizontal ie not into storage compartment then it stops moving. When the switch is released a metallic noise is heard (like 2 spanners banging together). Any ideas...
