as title, my car is making a really weird whining noise when revving, it sounded like it was from the egr valve, so we disconnected the plug on the egr and the noise when. any idea what this could be and is a egr delete the best way around this.

Has anyone used Archer Performance for remapping the ECU. I have been in contact with him as he states he is able to delete the EGR step for me and up my performance etc etc. and a price which far less then the cost of a new EGR valve

I really wanna do this. But want to do it properly as I don't really want the pipes welded in, I'd rather have slip joints. Fount the milltek bypass pipes that are slip jointed but rather pricey. Is there any others out there ?

Well a good result , finished the instal today and was not a fun job to do ! Good news is after rehanging the rear boxs on new rubbers the annoying thump from the back passenger side has gone . It's been making a thud going over bumps for 4 years and mb were never able to get to the bottom of it...
