Morning all, im fairly new here after only picking my car up on Friday albeit 2 tanks of petrol down already :-) Just been looking around the site and some people seem to recommend getting the car detailed straight away.
I live in Essex and have done some research on a company who look superb...
Today to mark my car being owned by me for 1 month, I set about re detailing my C350. I have not used any machines or polishers and my car has not been washed at all since being in my ownership. I have used an awful lot of elbow grease though. Apologies for some dust in some of the photos, I...

Hi all,
Bit of an introductory post from me this one. I'm a detailer by trade, based in Altrincham, South Manchester, and have joined up on the say so of an existing forum member who is a friend of mine. I'm not sure of her username (yes, a female, and from Manchester if that narrows it down...
Spend a few hours this morning... washed her thoroughly.
Clay bared in detail.
Then machine polished with G3 scratch remover ... and some G3 paste where it was needed.
Another later of G3 medium polish.
Then applied a coat of Autoglym Ulta Deep shine and here are the results

Friend of mine asked if I could drive him and his dad to his wedding in my CLS, which of course I agreed to do. He told me he would pay me but I turned it down as he's a mate and its big day after all, I just asked him if he could have one of the lads we know (who loves detailing) to give it a...
I've been absent for a while as life seems to be getting busier and busier but I've had time over the bank holiday to do a bit of detailing work. Having just received my car back from MB complete with one new huge scuff on the front bumper and a cracked headlight caused by one big stone chip and...
As said in the post I treated the shed to a "detailing".
I washed the car, including the wheels. Not being a detailer a jetwash/hose was done, not the two bucket method.
I did the heinous thing of buying products in Halfords too
The car was clayed and used meguirs clay lube.
I...
Also known as my W124 Merc
Bought this in March as a replacement for my written off Peugeot 106. I ordered plenty of cleaning supplies from Polished Bliss and awaited a good dry day when my (now 6 week old) son wasn't being a pain in the ****
The cars bodywork is generally in good nick...
I pick up my new (to me) CLS tomorrow. I was going to gt it detailed as soon as possible. The paintwork is in good condition for a 3 year old car on inspection.
Is it a good idea to get it detailed immediately to give me a good start point and make it easier to keep looking good?
All of the current polls, plus one I pulled together about MB reliability has got me thinking...
Is it worth pulling all of these together into a proper survey using an online tool. Could be interesting research into the reliability and costs of owning particular models, and ages.
It could...
Link to my CL being detailed.
The car looks like silver glass now, interior and engine bay like a new car.
Enjoy, Colin.

Im having the Aston fully detailed in June to show standard and he will "do" the CLS`s Obs black swirlfest afterwards as he says it willl look unbelievable (the CLS) because its such poor / soft / iffy paint it really benefits from a clay / wax / tlc / polish / love fest so I said ok I will pay...
I took delivery of the CLK 320 Cabrio about 3 weeks ago and thought it looked really good cosmetically and the dealer had prepared it really well. On the other hand, I had recently had my F355 fully "Detailed" and the transformation from 'superb' to 'absolutely stunning' was incredible. So I...
