Hey!
Just wondering i anyone knows if the c180 w202 99 mod has a limited slip diff. And if castrol 75W-140 without lsd additive is a suitable oil, if its not a lsd of course.
Hi all
Has anyone fitted an LSD diff to an e55
If so was it worth it?
Did it help getting the power down more? And make a more involving drive
Any advice on improving an imense car appreciated
Thanks

Hi all, as above will the w202 diff fit in the w124 subframe? I have been offered a 3.91 diff from a manual c180, which I would like to fit in to my s124 e300 diesel. The gearing would be perfect, but I'm unsure what mountings the w202 diff has?
Anyone know?
Hi all, I've been looking into sorting out the gearing in my w124's, since they have both been coverted from auto to manual gearbox's. As they are now, they feel a bit high geared for my liking, more so on the estate which dosent seem to need 5th gear till 60mph.

i figure this is a 'once in a blue moon' change for which probably hasnt never been done?

Prior to removing the diff from a W201 2.6, I'm trying to remove the ABS sensor from the diff. I have the cable disconnected from where it enters the loom under the rear seat and pulled through the hole beneath the seat. I also have the screw removed from the clamp/plate that secures it to the...
Hi all,
I have a 1996 e220 coupe and there is a slight howl coming from the diff. As a low cost treatment i have thought about changing the diff oil first to see if it makes a difference.
As this is my first MB, i asked a retailer for advice on which fluid to use...
