Hi, my Mercedes garage has told me my front discs & pads need replacing. I didn't really want to pay the £390 to them for doing the work as its a job I've done on several cars before.
Can any of you recommend good disc & pad combinations for the E350 Coupe Sport and where to get them? (I am...
Hi guys,
My c63 has stood for around 12 weeks and the discs have gone very rusty. Iv took it out on a run and have done some braking but they are still rusty and weren't clean like before.
What can I use to clean em up? With the wheels still on!
Thanks James

Sat in the dealership at the minute having new pads fitted to the front and have just been told that I need new discs too!!!!
The pads haven't worn down and damaged the disc but they said "we are seeing this quite a lot - discs needing to be changed with every pad change".
I asked to see the car...
Does anyone know what type of brake pads this caliper takes, photos if possible, do I need a special pin punch to remove the caliper pins?? Also what type of discs would be required for this caliper.
Hi
I'm quite new on here but have had a few MB's in the past, C32, C43 and a E430 in current use as our family estate.
I recently bought some front discs for my C43 off Fleabay from a supposedly reputable seller who was selling these disc soley for a C43. I'd seen a few which claimed to fit...

My car has done 18,000 miles, is it...
Hi, so it's time for new front brakes for my CLK430 and I'm looking through what eurocarparts.com has to offer. Problem is (the same problem I had with my last CLK430, but I can't remember what I found out back then), they offer 2 different sizes. I'm pretty sure I either found, or made a thread...

After a (mostly) successful thermostat swap yesterday, today was discs and pads.
Had all the bits ordered from ECP.
First thing I noticed was that no picture or howto that I've seen anywhere looks like the calipers fitted to the front. It was soon pretty clear that the pads I had were not...
Had the dreaded "brake liner wear" come up. Not unexpected as the service sheet suggested new disks at next pad change, and they were low. Question is, Merc oem parts or aftermarket? I don't do track days or prolonged heavy braking! What have other '32 owners done?
