What are the recommended replacement bulbs for a W124? standard is H4 55/60w (i think) current bulbs are probably past their best, i dont want anything that looks too flamboyant ( bright blue for example ) and do not wish to upset the bulb warning light on the dashboard a mild improvement...

Has anyone fitted the MB uprated H7 headlamp bulbs, part number A0009980007? Are they much of an improvement??

I've noticed there's a wee bit of water in the passenger headlamp of my 96 E class. How easy or otherwise is it to fix this? Does the light come out easily and can you get enough access with your hands to clean & dry the inside of the lens?

Sorry for more questions, I have a donor W124 with headlamp wipers, I fancy fitting them to my W124 that doesn't have them. Is this far more trouble than it's worth of is it a case of changing washer bottles headlamps and plugging bits in, I suspect it is as life is never that easy. Thanks a lot.

I have a 2012my c class saloon with xenons and active headlamps. It doesn't appear to have headlamp washers. I though they were a legal requirement if you have xenons?
