Came upon this M104 head refurb http://www.flickr.com/photos/lop124028/sets/72157605115286959/ and noticed the heat shielding on the air intake. Is it worth doing, would it make a noticeable difference ?

    ML270 Air intake question

ML270 W163 2002 120k km's (Australian) Was wondering if something might be missing from my air intake setup. It looks as though there should be some sort of 'surround' or 'housing' where the air intake joins onto the front mudguard. There is a visible gap approx 1/4 inch wide between the intake...

    W210 intake vent blocked?

Whilst washing the car today I notice that air-inlet vent on the bonnet was collecting water (on the passenger side). It looks like it is blocked, but the driver's side is okay. Any one knows how to unblock the passenger's side (or does it drain off the driver's side on the W210 facelift)?
