As above, what is the schrader underneath the left intake (when looking into the engine bay) on my C32, when I take the clipon cover off? A/C in on the RHS, and under the cover on the left of the condensor. I know where the gearbox is, so what is that externally threaded schraeder?
So...I got my BMC air filter today, I was about to go install it when I look in my engine bay and realized this:
The cold air inlet, the hose which connects the air box to the inlet is missing and it turns out the box is broken at the end...It turns out the guys that fixed my car after it...
My 06 E320 CDI with 55,000 miles limped home yesterday with little accelleration and the engine management light was on the dash. The garage have advised me that the intake port shut off motor had gone. This is the second time this has happened to me and at £600 a go to repair is becoming...
I had my E200 k hooked up to my friends snap-on dignostics last week and I noticed that the air intake temp was reading over 60 degrees celseus . I reckon this is very high as the car was not runnig very long and the outside temp was less than 10 degrees .
Would this be pointing to some problem...

For the past 5 months my E280 (W124) has not missed a beat, no fault codes. Perfect, except for one thing, it doesn’t have typical mid ranch punch that it should i.e. the surge at 3500 rpm. This car seems to pick up at about 4500 rpm, a 1000rpm later than it should. Personally, I’m convinced...
I want to change the air intake hoses in the engine bay.

The ones used on the R129 SL however were plastic, and also the 5.0 M119 engine was used in the 500.
Will the 129 hoses fit on my car?
124 Part No. -...

I start to think in my engine where is no MAF sensor, and amount of air is measured by measuring temp of incoming air. I think at low rpm engine is sucking air by himself, and air movement in the intake is slow. As turbo is start to boost air moves faster and it cools the iat sensor. I wonder if...
