Ive got a problem which apparently is a faulty wiring loom. Before I had the problems which were diagnosed as a faulty loom I had my factory immobiliser disabled... Ar the two electric items related? I know only the guy that did the work will know, just wondered if anyone had an opinion...

Guys, this is looking like a massive bill. Replacement Wiring Loom: 850...wtf?! Can anyone repair the damn thing? Or can you just find one from somewhere else?

Guys, Wiring Looms are £350 ish.....but ECU's are ridiculous. My mechanic has suggested that wiring loom needs to be replaced...potentially leading to an ECU replacement. What are the options here? They surely cannot be just getting them replaced at £900?!!!!! Repair options? Second...

I want to rewire my loom however I am having trouble figuring out what cable to buy. Does any one know how many cords in the cable? The cross section of area (mm2)? And the current rating for the cable? thanks

when replacing the magnet due to leaking oil. do you recommend just plugging the modified loom section onto the end or chopping off the old plug and splicing the new one in?
