Hi guys
Is it possible at all to lower the w211 estate?
As far as I know they have an air suspension at the back if so what's the way to do that?
Thanks
Hello just seen these lowering springs by H&R 40m .
Would these be any good for my c32 amg saloon ???
They are only £165 for a full set.
If so would I need to buy anything else or would they be enough I'm running standard wheels. Cheers lipsylee

I have spent the afternoon reading reams of posts on this subject and I am no clearer on the subject.
I want to drop my 95 300d bought last week by 30/40mm then put a set of 17s on.
Is there any one out there who have done this model and can provide a list of stuff I need to buy?
Also a rim...
I've just bought a C208 CLK320 and want to fit some 18" monoblocks. I've had a quote for the Eibach Sportline lowering kit that I understand I'll need with these wheels of £160 for the kit and £228 for the fitting (including the camber, toe-in and four wheel alignment that they say is...
just want your opinions on lowering, is it better to lower via star or lowering links? Its purely for looks and handling, not wanting to slam it. :thumb:
Also how much does it cost to lower via star?
I've had the 124 for a couple of months now and I'm loving every moment of it :D. But in preparation for split rims I'm thinking of lowering it. I've taken it to two MB specialist garages now and both of them told me not to lower it as it will ruin the ride. What are your thoughts? any chance of...
Hi :)
I have a w208 2000 CLK55 AMG coupe and I've just fitted H&R 25mm lowering springs, The
problem I am having is the car is sitting a little bit higher than when I started so I was wondering if
anyone had the same problem??? It's driving me mad!!! Can anyone help?
Thanks :)
Which are best springs to drop an s124?
H&R? Euro performance seem to list a few different ones, don't want a massive drop and would like to keep the ride reasonably smooth.
Just thinking outside the box here, would it be possible to lower my R-Class air suspension when stationary for ease of access for clients by somehow splicing into the air suspension pipes with a T join, (or letting the air out through the compressor) with the pipe attached to a twist valve...
Ive been speaking with Programa who make the Renntech V2 lowering modules with the in car remote.... Some of our members already have these and they can slam their cars for shows/cruising or set any desired height and save it.... (Alps, Ricky, Savman amongst others)
These modules normally...
Hi all,
New to this forum - However I use Edition38 quite regularly.
Also just a cheeky photo of my golf with the coupe!
Just after a bit of advice with lowering my coupe - Im planning on having AMG monoblocks either 17/18's and want to lower it, getting rid of the arch gap.

Just wondering if anyone has fitted lowering springs to their CLK, thinking of Eibach or H&R. Are either approved by MB as i know Eibach are Ford approved.
SO has anyone any experience, good or bad..
Im after either springs, springs and shocks, or adjustable coilovers. Id like to lower my '97 E200 by about 60mm, but any amount is a start if the price is right..
So my 212 is due its second service next week.
i have raised the questions with them about lowering it slightly via star as it looks like it is on stilts.. they have said they will look into it, but they would need to stick within tolerances...
does anyone know what the tolerance thresholds...
HI guys.
So, in preparation for the fitment if 18 inch amg woodblock alloys I'm going to order some springs.
There seem to be loads on eBay ranging from c120 upto 230. My thoughts are on the eibach ones that lower about 40mm.
Can I get some guidance on why there's a price variance and any...
