The day started being picked up by Acid from the hotel I was staying at (I travelled down the day before to have the car serviced and Acid wanted to have a good check over the car as it has done 2000 miles since being installed…see the other Thread for the Oil catch can).
We pulled up outside...
Hi there,
Mercedes Enthusiast magazine are looking for an SLK 32 AMG to shoot for a big feature on Monday 10th March.
The photoshoot will last around 3/4 hours and is likely to be in the Beds/Bucks/Herts/Essex area.
If you have an SLK 32 AMG and would like to take part please email me at...
Does anyone else remember the car magazine, that would have an article where they took a second hand car and stripped it down to nearly every nut and bolt?
They'd have a nice photo of all the parts neatly laid out on the floor. The article would then describe how they thought the car had worn...
Having had my SLK for a few weeks I was curious to remind myself what journalists also thought of it. So I went back and read the various reviews online. It was funny to read so many opinions that I didn't recognise. Obviously the journalists drive so many cars that their point of reference is...
Having discovered in my other thread http://www.mbclub.co.uk/forums/general-discussion/148315-mercedes-enthusiast-photoshoot.html
that not many newsagents seem to stock Mercedes Enthusiast and therefore not many people had read "my" article, I wondered how many of our 75000 members buy the...
When Mercedes Enthusiast did the photo shoot for my C124 Widebody ( feature article coming this summer ), they decided to take some pix of my 1971 280SL.
Found out a few weeks ago that it would be in the current ( March 2013 ) issue ..page 44 and 45. :D

Well I am now able to explain the reason for my detailing over recent months. On Friday Mercedes Enthusiast are doing a photoshoot with my car in order to do an article for the magazine:)
Obviously I want the car at its best for the shoot so I have been working on it to build up the layers...
I've tried to order a back issue of this edition but apparently they are out of print. Does anyone have a copy?
Image attached - there is one article I'm after (clue's on the cover)
Thanks
Sean

The postman has just delivered a very nice Mercedes-Benz magazine. It says £3.50 on the front cover but I haven't ordered it.
It looks and smells (sad I know) very professional.
Is this due to the fact that I have recently become the proud owner of a Merc and I am now on their mailing...

2014 Mercedes C-Class W205 full body prototype first spy photos
Wowzers, it doesnt seem that long since I posted up the very 1st W204 photo
The shape of the panel covering the grille on the front fascia hints that this aspect may be a little more oval than on its predecessor. Of what we...

Just a quick heads up....
Very soon we will be launching our own magazine as we may be teaming up with a publishing house. At first it will be an emagazine only.

Happy xmas everyone!
The cd changer is in the glovebox of my w203, if you try and eject the magazine it buzzes but does not pop out, do i need to remove the whole changer from glovebox and then take apart or is there another way to do this? If you press cd on the head unit it just says "no cd"...
