On my S211 E320 Cdi Avantegarde I have 7.5J X 16 wheels. Now got two conflicting pieces on information about the offset: dealer says ET35, vendor of wheels I am thinking of buying (for a new winter set) says ET41. Who is right? Does it matter?

does the higher the ET number means the more inset the wheel from the edge of the body ie from ET3 0to ET 34 given the same diameter rim?
