Got to post this. How many Mercedes Benz Main Dealers will give you, for free, a 350 V6 Engine complete:eek: (that includes injection set, alternator, steering pump, get the idea?)valued at £12,500? Its done no more than 6000 miles. Being replaced under warranty as the timing chain slipped one...

W211 just had a B Service. Great job done by MB Preston (as recommended by Mr. Walker) and by supplying my own oil/smiling nicely/Mr. Walker putting in a good work got away with £300'ish! Amanda a pleasure to deal with - they even ensured my carpets were clean.... :devil:

Rang up and spoke to Ian on several occasions regarding a ront spring change, and glow plugs, real nice fella, gave me invaluble and friendly advice, I'll be taking it over to him to check out once I get the head sorted:( Phil

Just a heads-up for anyone using the M6 around the Preston area; been up that way today and saw an unmarked, silver MB C-class estate pull someone over. He did have the blues in the grill and lights in the rear window/boot, but apart from that, no give-aways. Keep 'em peeled :D
