Looking at current car care products, there are a number of products called Quick Detailers. What exactly are these? Is is a final product to apply after you have washed and dried your car, or is it something you use instead of washing?

I've swapped out the idler pulley as the bearing was a bit gone. Got a damper too but the lower bolt won't retract far enough with the water pump pulley in the way. Query is this, is the 8mm allen / socket screw that holds the viscous fan coupling to the water pump a LEFT hand thread? TIA
