Hi guys
After spending ~£800 on Pilot PS3 and WIM action, I found out last night, that with just me and my partner, that the rear tyres rub on road undulations - ie. bumps.
With just me in the car, they only rub on one harsh speed bump and are fine the rest of the time
Just...

Had my car for almost three months now. Had four people in car this evening which is not usual. After taking a few corners and going round a few roundabouts within the speed limit I noticed on RH turns a rubbing noise coming from what I am sure is the rear of the car. On investigation the...

Got a Vito 109CDI. I discovered this grinding noise that I at first thought was the rear handbrake shoes rubbing against the discs. The strange thing is, is that when I stop at a junction the noise continues for about 10-20 seconds...
Hi, I have just joined, having recently purchased my 210 Estate 300TD. I have replaced the 16'' steel wheels, and plastic hubcaps with 18'' 7 spoke Incenio Menket alloys from a CLS, (8.5Jx18et28 and 9.5Jx18et33) fitted with 245/40/18 tyres on the front, and 275/35/18 on the rears, which improve...
Hi All,
I'm ocassionally getting a rubbing or scrubbing type sound from the front of the car when turning at low speeds.
Think it only occurs when turning wheel to the right, but not sure.
Can feel a mild vibration through the wheel when it occurs, and only lasts for a split second whist...
My 1998 W202 elegance has the bumper trim & rubbing strips painted a slightly different colour to the rest of the car bodywork.
Does anyone know how to find out the colour/colour code for the rubbing strips other than from the dealers?
The car is 189 emerald black metallic.
Is it worth getting the rubbing strips on the sides sprayed to match say new bumpers and skirts, or is it better to buy new rubbing strips already painted?
Opinions please...

Hi,
Since changing my wheels to 17" with 45 series tyres, I get a deep rubbing type noise from the front area.
I know that the wheels are not rubbing against anything so am wondering wheather the bushes or bearing might cause this noise?
I have also tried the old wheels, but the noise...
Sorry for the pic quality, left the camera in London so these crappy pics off my phone will have to do until I get back. Sorted out the problems with the rubbing arches and also swaped out the front spring pads for #3's (the #2's were TOO low!). Just been washed and Zymol'd
EDIT...
Hi
Have an S reg (1998) C250 TD estate and have noticed an uneven rubbing sound (similar sound to front disc rubbing against discs pads) when turning left or going around left hand corners. No similar noises when going straight or turning right.
Has anyone else had similar problems and...
One of the front wheels on my 190E has been rubbing in the arches since I took the tyres back up to a standard size 60 profile - they used to be 55 profile. It rubs going over most bumps.
It is lowered, but only seems to be running on the drivers side front wheel.
Can you get pads to jack...
