Spoke to a guy at work (X5 driver) who to a sharp intake of breath when I said I was buying an ML. "oooh you don't mind getting it nicked then, one yank of the handle and it's open".....founded or unfounded?
Hi,
Need to get into a Tosh laptop.
Screw has a security torx head. Smallest I have is a T10 and that looks at least a few sizes too big.
Looking for a cheapish set of Security Torx bits say T6 (or whatever the smallest is) to T10 or so.

E-bay really is going to the dogs:mad:
I had an auction coming to a close yesterday and with hours to go a bid comes in for exactly the same amount as my Reserve Price.
Odd, I thought....so I contacted the e-bay member and asked them to confirm that they had placed the bid.

Hi Chaps,
I just fitted a comand from a w210 into my w208 with no problems. Im just waiting for a nav disk now to make sure that side of it is ok.
What Im amazed at though is the lack of security in the comand itself. No keycodes, no removable facia - its a tealeafs delight!
Pair of security keys & lock plate to fit any Mercedes Comand 2.0 (and possibly other) satnav units....
The 2 large plates fasten to the side of the Comand unit and then this secures the Comand from being removed without the 2 special keys which are included.
PM me an offer. Ideal for all...

I have seen several posts...

In my search for employment, I've seen adverts for positions that require security clearance, which I don't have. Is this somethnig that can be attained off your own bat or do you need to be taken on by a company that is willing...
Hi,
Anyone had any experience of this. I installed it a couple of weeks ago and the performance (internet) of my PC connected to the same DSL line seems significant slower. In particular web pages have a long pause before anything shows, and then the page appears more or less instantly. In...

I thought I knew the answer to this, but on my latest insurance quote I have been asked to provide documentary evidence that my 2001 W210 (E220CDi) is fitted with a Cat1 security system.
So to check I downloaded the PDF from Thatcham and don't seem to be able to identify it in the list. Can...
