Hi Folks Just bought a 1998 SL320 and on the whole its great a few issues around vacuum driven locking etc are present but are acceptable - however on acceleration (foot from mid to quite hard down) the power just goes, almost as if a engine stopped and then a big jolt as power kicks in again...

Has anyone had the same problem. When my sl320 has been stood in garage for a couple of days when I start the car fuel leaks from the fuel pump area under the car. After running for a while the fuel leak stops. Any suggestions would be welcome as to the possible reason for this.
