Hiya All My Exterior Temp Guage is Massively incorrect, I have noticed it for a While but today was the Worse, My Local Area was 6oC yet My Screen was 13.5oC Please help with what the problem is

I would like to have the outside temp displayed on the dash, checked through the manual and its there so tried it;- no luck, then i noticed a little fotenote 3 'except in the UK'.:( Does anybody know how to display this on a UK car!!

I've noticed that the temp on my new purchase takes about 12 miles to get up to 70 deg and about 25 m to get to 80 deg. I presume that the thermostat is 'sticky' ?? Is this an easy DIY job? :crazy: cheers

I have been driving my dads 2001 E320cdi today and after a 30 mile run the temp gauge only reached what is showing in pic and on motorway it was actually lower than this. Should he get it checked or is this normal? Thanks

Evening, The outside temperature gauge on my W124 has a fault. When you initially switch on the ignition, for a second or so, the gauge displays the correct temperature, then drops by around 10 degrees. It will still fluctuate correctly registering changes up and down by half a degree...

Hi all Where is the External temp sensor location ?? The display on the dash is reading a lot higher than the actual temp I was thinking the temp sensor might have popped out of its bracket, and sitting near a hot engine part. Cheers ! :doh:
