temp

I thought the right engine temperature was 90 degrees but my one always goes up to 80 and nothing more. Is that normal? does it mean my sensor is at fault or the thermostat?

during the warm weather i have noticed that the temp gague sometimes climbs this happens mostly after being at motorway speeds and then slowing in traffic or climbing uphill! never higher than 90% but i thought the thermostat would regulate it to be constant, any thoughts cheers
