Hi I have a CLK 230K which I assume has a timing chain but I can't seem to find out when it's supposed to be changed, can any one tell me? Also chain guides have been mentioned when do they get changed. Another service question that I can't seem to find is when the auto box fluid should be...

can any one tell me how to re-time my diesel fuel pump on my spinter its a P reg(98) with a 903 engine. my timing chains snapped and i have replaced the whole head but need to re-time the fuel pump. can anyone please help.:confused:

Hi all, Recently managed to pick up a mint 1983 230E (59,000 miles otc!) but it's ticking over a bit eratically. Anybody have tuning data (timing, plug gaps etc) for this model? Will add you to my will if ya can help me out here ;) Many thanks in advance! Cheers Darren

Hi ! I have a 2000 E220CDi and since i purchased it 2 years ago i have done 22,000 miles. the clock now reads 84,052 miles.iv only given it an oil change every 6 months and thats all. What concerns me is the timing belt - does anybody know how often the belt needs to be changed on these cars?

Hi I'm sure I'm a little stupid for not being able to work this out but ... how do I read the timing scale (1989 190 2.0 Stromberg Carb UNleaded)? I've been told it should be 5 deg BTDC at idle, currently it is on the bar to the left of the "3" but this does not look like a normal degrees...
