£111. Are younger People Worth More?

Hence why we dont go whizzing past people its common sense and decency and neither of us want to injure anyone, i am not looking at the legality side of things in this conversation, am just talking about escooters in general, they are a brilliant mode of personal transport that would cut down urban journey times, pollution and congestion. I do really think once the government works out how they are going to create a revenue stream from them they will be deemed acceptable in their eyes
But until then you should not be riding it in public places...ITS ILLEGAL! The speed wont come into it if an old lady steps out of her garden gate into your path. Would you say the same if I took an untaxed, uninsured car on the road with no license.....and me saying is perfectly OK.....ill drive it sub 20mph so I dont hurt anyone?.....no I didnt think so. But then you seem to think its OK talking of your illegal activities on a public forum so who knows!!! I bet the person mentioned in post 1 (or his parents) thought it was perfectly acceptable too!!

I dont but the point is that cyclists aside the other have insurance so wont pay anything themselves When A lady pulled out in front of my motorcycle and broke my arm in 4 places the compensation was 6 figures.....she would not have enjoyed that if she was uninsured or had cause the accident on her E scooter rather than her car...which could easily happen!!!
Isn’t the reality that you got paid that much because the insurance was there?

Excellent, many thanks. Made in the UK too.

I've see this level of scooter being used most days - on the road and outside the UK - with speeds of up to 30mph (and even potentially 50mph) very much a motorbike / fast hybrid e-bike alternative. Always by appropriately dressed riders, with all the gear (and a good idea)

70lbs ! And I gave up riding e-bikes because I thought 45lbs made them too much of a hassle for the extra range thy gave.

Solar P1 Pro Review: Electric Scooter That’s Fast And Heavy

Cat firmly placed within the pigeons, but like Harleys, Ducati's, AMG's and even racing bicycles, it's not about the power, it's how it's actually used.

Yea thats mine, and the only visible difference between mine and my wifes is she has 1 headlight. Your totally right about the way its used, its the total tits driving them thats demonised them

I'd have sued her for the same if she hadn't been insured.....I had to take the insurers to court to get that (£30k was the original offer....which to be fair was inline with insurance guidelines.....but not to me or my solicitor)....so Id have done the same to her.

I've been in Bristol for work recently and the number of these e-scooters makes them a blood pain to the point they're a menace. A lot of hired ones I believe but like the Boris Bikes in London.

Not only are they going at sprinting speed as a minimum, they're completely silent and riders don't factor in people not hearing or seeing them.
