18" BBS LM For the E55

Lovely :D

you can usually get second hand sets for about 1k-1750 with tyres

Prices will vary, condition/tyres and desired fitment.

More pictures next week when I sort out correct ET.

Thanks.

Offsets all sorted, I will get some nice pictures up soon..

Quick snap on my BB

Yeap. Suspension is fully adjustable via remote, there is also a "speed lowering feature" on mine, it goes back to stock height at 30mph. Renntech lowering module is the nuts!

now I see how the car can be driven :)

how much lighter are these BBS wheels compared to AMG wheels of the same size?

Nice wheels man! Seeing that you just had them refurbed, I take it there are no plans on blacking out the centre part?

That was the obvious choice, for many reasons I decided against it.

bbs lm in 18" are around 18lbs each, amgs in 18" are various weights, but the lightest ones are around 25lbs each.

Yeah I thought it its was about that maybe a little more for the 9", my stock rear wheel was 29lbs .

Heavy is Good, Heavy is Reliable...Boris lol.

Love them, beautiful wheel, although i always thought they would look better with a nice big centre cap ! I added some caps to my old fakies and everyone else hated them so shows what I know :)

Well that solution will definitely improve your handling with less unsprung weight :thumb:

It sure will!:thumb:

Thanks mate :)

Looks like I will not be running a spacer on the back as I cant get hubcentric in 5mm.:(

Another quick picture..

Looks fantastic, nice choice of wheel, loving the drop too. At least your suspension is adjustable too!

fantastic wheel, nice to see somebody putting genuine BBS's on. I have done but put reps made by rota on mine. BBS LM is always a winner, i am suprised you went for an 18 but i like the racing fat look with chunky rubber.. it would work if you were riding high but this thing is slammed!

I wasn't sure they would suit the car, but I couldn't have been more wrong. Probably the nicest looking wheel I've seen on a 55!! Nice one.

Don't see why you need a 5mm spacer on the rear? Looks amazing as it is!

Personally wouldn't run non-hubcentric, especially on a powerful RWD car!
