18" "Carlsson Alloys" Thoughts?

I've reported him, but it might take more than one person.

My clk has never been lowered and its on 18's now, i think they look abit small too.. can i lower AMG suspension?

also do u think 19s look better over all? As ive just fitted 18s and think they look too small

i also thaught that 18's looked to small, but since i got my Carlsson 3/6 3 piece's i think 18 is enough especially with such huge tires..and beautiful looking rims..im still undecided on how to paint them.... them carlssons the OP posted i think dont suit the 208 i have genuine Multisopke OZ rims id like to sell becasue i dont like the look of too many spokes.

im obsessed with these rims..

Why would you want to? Isnt it a sport type set up?

Id only lower it if the new wheels didn't look right (if they looked abit small)

They look good, where did you get them from if you dont mind me asking?

Could you post a picture of your OZ Rims?

Also off topic, since you live in essex aswell, could you point me in the direction of where you get your work done? (MB indie)

Thanks :thumb:

friends who own a Mercedes specialist did all my work.. if you want some work done i could pass on there number and details, you would need to drop the car near the braintree area....

i got the carlssons from a fellow member on here(TOP FU**n Bloke). here is a pic of the oz rims..on my 208

sonnys208.jpg

there called OZ "Ultra Leggera" and they are genuine with all Part numbers and OZ stamped...they seem quite rare not even one set for sale on ebay....

shaun down waterhouse is great he does all my mechanical work i have been going to him with all my benzes since 06... but for body work i use other people.... if you want to see more pics of my car click here mate

i sold em to him, they were on the widebody for a while.

i am afraid i havent got any more, they are the rarest rims i've ever had the pleasure to own.

only seen the odd car with em, and they were in the usa, over on benz world as well.

a lot of the vw crowd use similar rims on mad euro golfs and such like, may be worth slumming it on one of their sites for a while?

i think the Carlsson 210 was a very rare beast, and the rims alone were mega expensive, so not many people opted for em

i also think they look much better than the amg equivalent

surprising how long it took to find a guy cleaver enough to realise that following every one else and having amg rims was not as good as having a true almost one off set of wheels on the car.

when he gets round to painting em, they will be the bomb.

they are, like most merc three piece rims, quite heavy for performance applications however.

i had a few tentative enquires and a few that wanted to buy em, clean em up and add them to their inventory for a profit!

to the op, have you tried sourcing some genuine bbs lm's or similar?

your a true gent nick... you really done me a solid... and i have to agree putting AMG's on a Mercedes is very much the norm not a bad thing but if you want to stick out from the crowd, there's no better way...than a set of sublime 3 piece rims..:rock::rock:

I had these same wheels, although 19's, on my w202....I think they looked

that top picture is a C215 with my actuall rims on.. looks sick..

Yeah looks good doesn't it :) I'd love them on my 55

I intend to put 18" staggered carlssons on mine end of next month.

well if they can do the right price for me its the multi spokes like ginas but in 18s and staggered, to be honest i wouldnt personally go for your carlssons as they dont do anything for me. Im sure many will like them but personal taste at the end of the day... im looking at miro 111's from america at the moment

I do like those (yours) carlssons but not in the split rim style... i just feel less is more on that shape. Still i know they are rare and sought after
