18" winter tyres for clc

Hi

Im looking to get some winter tyres, current set up is 225/45/18 front and 245/35/18 rear. Ideally i'd like to just get the same size tyres put on my current wheels, and next year buy summer tyre/wheel set.

Anyone got any advice? There doesn't seem to be much option for 245/35/18 winters.

You'll find it hard to do better than fitting Vredestien Wintrac Xtreams IMHO.

cant seem to find any in current size of rear wheels

I've just had winter tyres fitted to my e350 coupe by my local dealer
It was recommended that ai fit the same size to front and rear

i guess to fit the same size tyre to front and rear, i will need the same size wheels on front and rear. i can't seem to find any info on what sizes can be fitted.

Hi Could you tell me what size these tyres are and what size are you wheels these were fitted on . I would prefer to have a set of Winters fitted to my E350 CDI all being the same size, but is this possible when I have 235/40/r18 x7.5 fronts ET36 and
255/35/r18x8.5 rears ET30

Best to fit same size all around for winters and get set of alloys or steels to fit. Check "alloywheelsdirect" for range of alloys, sizing and fitment - they have a good site that will guide you or even call them. For tyres I find "oponeo.uk.co" to be the cheapest.

went to the dealer and got a set of 16" wheels with tyres. if i had known 16's would fit i would have picked up a second hand set much cheaper.
