190e autobox and speedo

Just bought first merc,89 190e 2.0 auto126,000miles.appears mint with piles of main dealer history.

curious as autobox gives a harsh kick when taking up in D or R, smooth changes throughout the range when on the move otherwise.not sure how to check fluid?

Central locking only works off passenger door and wont lock the drivers side, guessing a vaccum pipe to blame?

Speedo needle is a bit bouncy too, any opinions welcomed.

Can anyone suggest a good independant in Liverpool.

Snatch on pull away is probably the flexible coupling, central locking is probably vacuum diaphragm in the door, speedo cable for the speedo.
