190e radio and dash back light?? help

hi, i have a 1992 190e that i have some questions about, first my radio at first my radio work once in awhile it would turn on only sometimes and would turn off by its self sometime so i got sick of it so i pulled out the radio unhooked all the wires and plugs that connected to the radio and just plugged them back and now my radio has no power at all, any answers?? same thing with the back light of my dash i worked most of the time until awhile ago and just turned off, and it would turn on when it wants to and turn off when it wants to but now it just stays off doesnt turn back on,please help, i check the fuses they seem to be okay.

Pull the cluster out. On the back you'll find a red plastic holder which looks just like the rest of the bulb holder but is actually a fuse holder.

You'll need a multimeter to trace the power for the stereo.

The old style fuses can be temperamental so sometimes removing and refitting a fuse will be enough to make good contract.
