Perhaps get hold of a multimeter and buzz it out? Or failing that, try swapping the connections with one of the other switches? If they are anything like the other MB switches from the 90's, then they do fail, but are easy and cheap to replace (~£20 from memory). HTH, Cheers, Will

Dec 6, 2004 #3 guydewdney MB Enthusiast Joined Feb 14, 2004 Messages 2,912 Location Porlock, Zomerzet Car 906 Sprinter 313cdi have you tried the re-sync thing? i.e. take window to top and press and hold for 5 seconds (not auto up press, just gentle press) the little sensors get confused sometimes - try unplugging the fuse for it for 10 mins first, then re-syncing? you might have to do all 4 windows.. guy
