1998 W202 - heater playing up

Hi guys. I went through some Threads but never found exact solution of my problem.

I have 1998 C Class with digital climate control. Few weeks ago my heater started playing up.
After starting the car I can feel cold/hot air coming out from blowers but I can control fan speed. It's just like on lvl 1. Not blowing hot/cold air just slightly coming out.

I took out heater unit, put back together and worked allright for few days. Now it stopped again. Any idea what part could be wrong? I'm posting 3 pictures just to make sure not sure if I explained it right Thank you for any info...

Check fuses also.

Wow. Didn't even think about brushes. Will try. Just looked at them and they're not the best Thank you Dec

The plug to the motor was loose on mine and needed the terminals nipping up very slightly.

I've checked all possible wiring on it but no luck. Had unit out not even hour ago to check brushes and they're really bad. Will get new ones tomorrow and we'll see Winter is coming and I'm cold )

Thanks guys for any tips. I've ended up buying not just new brushes but also new blower fan resistor (£10 for new from £20 after using ebay wowcher ) and everything is back in normal
