1st AMG, C63

New to group with my 1st AMG. Had a LOT ot vehicles over the years and decided on something a bit different. Wow, what a car. Had it 4 weeks and feel like I am learning to drive again, had mainly had mainly 4wd for 16 yrs ( brief 6months with a C350d ). Still trying some of the gadgets, got a few q`s, but they can be on there own threads. Nice to see an active forum with some life

Hi All, just registered. I currently have an Audi RS3 which is only a year old - I previously had an A45 and toyed with the idea of getting a C63 before the Audi. As the world of work has now changed - and the RS3 noise has been ruined by the OPF filter - I'm thinking again about getting a C63 so that driving becomes a bit more of an 'event' with that V8. I also do low miles so running costs should be fine.
Anyway, enough about me - Sumoninja my car history is very much like yours in that I've had 4wd cars for about 10 years or so. How have you found the handling and particularly traction of yours after having the 4wd security? Cheers

Tbh, scary at 1st, but love (as mentioned) learning to drive agin, just learning that you put your foot down at a different place on a bend i.e. DONT do it on the bend lol

Cheers Sumoninja. So stay off the power in the bends or roundabouts...check. Given my driving style (Miss Daisy ) and that I have a runaround I can use if there's more than 2 raindrops I should be ok. After all, it's about having the power to use as much as using the power isn't it...?
