Either the sun (what little we've seen of it!) is frying my brain or...well, let's leave that there, shall we!
My CLK has the glass-mounted antenna which I'm not overly fond of, much preferring the roof-mounted shark fin variety. My (possibly silly) question is this: can the glass-mount antenna be safely and cleanly removed and then replaced with the roof-mount shark fin?
For reference, the car came with telephone prep and I have the Mercedes HFP Bluetooth module fitted in the arm rest. I have also just had Comand sat nav fitted (courtesy of the fantastic chaps at Comandonline - thanks, guys).
It is all about aesthetics, of course, so I've yet to consider whether the costs that would be associated with it would be worthwhile.
As usual, any views, opinions and advice most gratefully received.
