Hello, can anyone help/suggest how I can remove my Glove box lid/door.
Thank you

Its unlikely that you will be able to do this. Usually the glovebox is a complete unit that is fitted to the IP during production build. I don't have access to MB service information, but I do work in the industry in an area where we have lots of involvement with Glovebox development and assembly.

Normally the whole glovebox would be the servicable item that you would need to remove.

No experience with CLK but this is the case with W210, W203, W204 and W221 (the models I have knowledge of).

Best way to confirm would be to contact your dealer to see if its possible to buy a glovebox lid only, if not then you probably can't remove it.

My w209 2009 CLK glove box lid was changed out by the dealer under warranty.....trim coming unstuck. The dealer thought a pre-ordered lid would be better than resticking. I didn't argue.

Sorry that I don't know how it came off. It seemed a simple proposition to him though.

Its fairly simple assuming it does open.

You need to remove the side trim on the end of the dash.. There is a clip that you pull out, this acts as the stop... Then the glove box lid folds down and can be removed...
Its really easy but havent done one in a while so may be mixed up.
