I am now the proud owner of a 2006 CLK 350 Elegance convertible W209, which I collected yesterday and replaces my Jaguar XJ Sovereign.
The car has covered 49,000 since new and drives great but would never expect it to be as comfortable as the Jag and will miss those heated seats which the Merc lacks.
I do have one problem though with the sat nav but will put this on a separate thread.

Congratulations!! You really will miss the heated seats on those crisp winter days with the roof down though.

Happy motoring :)

Many congrats on your new purchase. Im sure you will enjoy the first-class cruising experience of that V6 beast. Very rear to come accross a CLK 350 indeed.

Welcome to the club! :)
(I have heated seats btw) ;)

That is the only thing I will really miss about the Jaguar Sovereign is those heated seats but at least I have air con which I did not expect being a convertible.

I didn`t know the 350 V6 is a rare beast, then the Elegance with that engine must be even rarer, is this correct? It seems most CLK`s are in Avatgarde form.
I do like having the walnut trim instead of the stainless steel effect as I had in my last CLK coupe (W209) I had a few years ago.

According to how many left, there was a peak at 331 for the CLK350 Elegance. that compares to:
653 for the Avantgarde
899 for the Sport

as a comparison,
478 for the AMG 55
82 for the AMG 63
1449 for the 270CDI Elegance
etc etc.. you get the idea!

There are only 52 CLK500 sport left.. so that's pretty rare ;)
