2008 CL 63
I HAVE A 2007 CLS 63, Got into a accident and damaged the rear passenger air line, it was repaired but now the car dropped to the ground, figured the pump was burnt out so I decided to purchase a new pump and relay, installed the pump and relay but car still wont raise.

Personally, i would get it on a STAR machine and get a diagnosis on where the actual fault is.

I was told that the compressor relay is in the off position and it may need to be activated thru STAR

I might be the main fuse of the pump has blown , its a large 40 amp , with this blown the compressor wont run and the car will detect this after start up and shut down the system . Check for power at the compressor when starting the car .

This fuse is located in the front per fuse box under the drivers footwell carpet

I thought it was located driver side fuse box under the hood. I seen a big 40amp fuse there

All fuses good, new relay and pump installed, car still wont raise.

I had an issue with mine after it was in a accident, I had to get the rear subframe removed to weld a crack on one of the struts. When the car was put back together it wouldn't rise.

Turned out that the sensor that's determines the hight was not set up correctly, worth checking. As others have said STAR is the way to go,

Sorry i see you have a CL! The next step is to see if there is battery voltage switching accross the relay.

Okay, problem fixed! Seemed to be a burnt wire somewhere. Mechanic traced the wired and fixed the issue.
