You must be looking at the wrong place... check on ESS Lite.

For the 7G-Tronic+ it is most definitely 77,500 miles or 5 years, the earlier of the two.

Just something I read on another forum. Thanks for the 2nd opinion though.

Gearbox service £200-300 , new gearbox £4000 . I know which one I would choose , it’s cheap maintenance
