Anyone fancy a 2012 weekend trip to the home of AMG and/or the Nurburgring?

Hi yes there has been a thread a month or so started by benjy
looks like there may be some interest

Definitely, I go 2-3 times per year anyway so will do it as one of my normal trips. What about combining it with the F1 GP which this year is Hockenheim and is one of the very cheap ones with loads of cheap hotels or camping (which is not for the faint hearted.)

just a thought:dk:

Im off to the ring and a blast on an autobahn the first weekend in March, if a group go i'll be up for it again.

Hey guys,

Quick question and I am posting on here as I have no idea of where to post and I get the impression you lot probs know the answer. Anyway I have no experience of driving days etc...and my birthday is coming up and my wife is pressuring me to choose something, I found this today when flicking through the net - anyone think this would be a good idea/good deal: supercar driving experience

anyone done one before?

I used to be an Instructor on these type of packages, that one is a good deal, not a lot of track time and quite a bit of tutorials to keep you safe but if it's your first time thats a bargain and you'll love it :thumb:

Perfect! Thanks for your guidance here, I ended up booking it as a quick last-minute decision because the offer was running out, but then I found out that Groupon have similar deals for driving every single day!
Oh well, at least now you have given me some self-assurance. :D

So as you were an instructor - any quick tips for me? which car do you think is the best?

Best car by a mile is Porsche GT3 it's what F1 drivers train in :thumb: and a superb track weapon. However if you want the kudos of I've driven a supercar then the Lambo is next best. Prepare for the Ariel Atom you wont believe th G forces involved if the Instructor drives it right :D

Enjoy your day

Great, thanks! I guess I´ll see what happens on the day, but as I know little I´ll just go with what they suggest! Thanks for the tips. I bet that was a pretty fun job to have. :D

I'm looking to take my C63 there so early march would be good and any member that wants a trip in a c63 I'll gladly scare them, just like the sporting bears, no dribblers though please lol
