2012 C63 questions

I’m buying a 2012 C63 for myself soon but since I’m going quite a bit of ways to pick it up I was wondering what to look out for when I buy one mechanically speaking. My friend bought one with the lsd with 130,000 miles on it and has since brought it up to 145,000 miles trouble free aside from a few new sets of rear tires. His engine knocks a little but he told me that’s normal and it hasn’t caused problems. When I take a look at the car what red flags should I look for inspecting the car. Thanks in advance.

Before you look at the car, eyeball the seller. Ask a couple of questions that only a careful could answer. Get all his paperwork out and sit down to study it until you understand the history - however long it takes. If it all looks straight, go to the car and say "Before I spend the next hour inspecting your great looking car, what's wrong with it?"

Be best taking it to a specialist and asking them to look it over, I'm sure the seller wouldn't mind - assuming there is one reasonably near
