E Coupe, C207, New/Facelift ??

I know that the saloon is due in 2016, does anybody know when the coupe is due for a facelift ?

Do you think it will get a facelift?
Or maybe it will stop?

Replaced by C-class coupe and cabrio

The E-class was based on the W204 I believe anyway.

I wouldn't be surprised if it was dropped from the range, the recently announced "Edition" model is the only version now available and the cutback in the body colours and interior trim options give the impression that it's being phased out. I'm not sure whether this is to make way for a new model or to just let it quietly die a death.
I've always viewed the "C" class coupe as a rather expensive "C" class saloon with less room and fewer doors and the new version hasn't changed my view of the car. The "E" class coupe , although based on a "C" class chassis , has always stood as a model in it's own right and could never actually be viewed as a coupe version of the "E" class saloon much the same as the CLK.

The new AMG Line Edition is the runout model. You can expect a new model in 2017

Brand new model, photos seen for the 1st time:

It's cladding on the bootlid, like all early prototypes

Mine is cosmetically challenged, Harry.

It won't buff out :(

I would hazard a guess and say that this car will look like a cross between the new C-Class coupe and the S-Class coupe!! - why bother disguising it? We all know exactly what it will look like!

Differentiators have always been that the C coupe has sportier handling and suspension, the E has more rear leg room, pillarless windows, frameless doors and more laid back ride. Better trim levels in the E.
