hi iam new and hi to everyone

right

got a clk 209 2,7 cdi and just had it in for some knocking noise and found it to be one trackrod end and one bottom ball joint so changed both on both sides then garage did a lazer guide tracking but since ive getting car out of garage the steering feels loose and seem to wander about its not as bad on motorways but on ( b ) roads it scary any advice what it might be ( been back to garage and they cannot find nothing loose

cheers

Have the upper control arms also been checked - known weak spots.

Do you get a knocking sound if you shove the brakes on hard? Tapping the brakes not just keeping your foot in!

If you have a "scary" moment on B roads or uneaven surfaces it points to something significantly wrong.

IMHO

not to sure on upper control arms but never hurd a noise when braking had back brake done and he done front ones but said they were fine

i just cannot work out whats wrong iam thinking about getting shot of it but i love it id like to try solve problem
