Nice, thanks for this, I found a couple of handy things I didn't know about! The HOLD position for the brakes, and the bootlid shut switch!

I only found out yesterday when looking at my data card that if I boot thin air when standing close to my boot it will open!

I just look stupid & nothing happens

No. You need to have the key with you if the car is locked.
