Some one at some point has spent an awful lot of money and I always wonder why...

the clk's are available for sensible money. Also how do you insure it as any front end bump would cost a lot to sort.

maybe it had a front end bump an the this is the result of a fix...

!!!!!!!

Is is wrong that I like the rear bumper and exhausts?

I was intrigued by the separated exhaust pipes - do you think it's a completely different rear valance/section?

It looks like the Wald rear apron from csk performance

I've seen 3 of the coupes done like that, 2 were done using a fibre glass kit and looked awful, 1 was done using proper mercedes 210 panels and I was impressed.

Unfortunuately this one's in the former catagory judging by the panel fit and shut lines.
The wings could be OEM but the bonnet definately isn't.

Tell me when it safe to look!!!!!!!

I can't believe someone would actually do that! the CE is a sweet looking car anyway

The finishing touch!

I love the way the BROWN steering wheel just blends unobtrusively into overall interior trim colour scheme. It could have looked so OUT OF PLACE as if it belonged to another car and had been stuck on by accident.

Another prime candidate for a 'Gimp My Ride' TV show. I always wonder why people spend so much money making cars look ugly when they could just get the one they wanted in the first place?!

If you want a CLK............ buy one! Dont rob the world of a good looking motor in a poor attempt to model your own. Mercedes designers are highly skilled and hired to do this exact kind of thing so people who like brown steering wheels and baggy white seats dont have to!

Rant over :)

Oh dear, rear end nice, shame about the face....

And those seat covers, tut tut.

I quite like it. More so than any of the other conversions I've seen anyway.

I went to have look at this car a couple of years ago on a forecourt in Gainsborough and was not impressed..the bonnet was fibreglass and loose ,in all not put together very well,it was up at that time for about £2,500

I understand the outrage at mutilating a perfectly good car etc.....BUT...Yes..BUT...ahem...errrrr...it's...not that ......errr..bad. ahem. :o
