430 Clk

Right , on a brighter note, whats a 2000/2001 430 CLK worth ?

Its got 25000 miles on it, dark metallic blue with grey leather, all the goodies etc. bodywork is pristine as the guy owns an alloy wheel company and is into cars.

My dad has finally decided to replace his C-reg 300te (one of the very first w124's) and has been offered this by a mate who is upgrading to a Bentley Continental.

The guy is looking for about 16k , does this sound a fair price ?

Great deal for your dad, I'd say. Very depressing for me

The 430's got the V8 engine and is a fair bit quick. It's also the facelift model, low mileage (very low!), good colour (after silver, obviously ) and leather ... don't know what the trade figures are but that sounds like a great deal.

If it was me, I'd snap it up.

The guy doesnt get his Bentley till just after Christmas, so dad won't get it before then, but when he does i'll get some piccys and post them up.

I never mentioned before that this particular 430's got 19" BBS split rims on it too !!! Dad's gonna look like a bl***y drug dealer, have to make sure he puts me on the insurance !!
