Anybody done one?
Thinking about getting Mrs Janner a voucher for Christmas.

not done one but the course *looks* very tame indeed.

I'm sure there are better, more challenging offroad days out there.

Hi Janner
I did the 4x4 experience last July and really enjoyed it,great fun, don't think your be bombing round in a 4x4 its slow controlled driving and you really learn a lot about driving off road.
While I was there they were improving the course to include more water features so it will be even better when complete

Thanks for that. She has a 4x4 (Shogun) and would appreciate doing a course. I could get her a Land Rover day here in Devon but I've never been to MBWorld so it seems like a good excuse for me to look at the cars while she does the 4x4 thing ;)

I've done a Land Rover day and it was absolutely superb in real countryside. I'd go to MB World anyway, but i would seriously go for the best 4x4 course which I don't think MB World is.

I've seen the MB one and as someone else has said it is pretty tame, go for a LR Experience day and hope they don't stick you in a Freelander!.

I've done a few MB off road sessions - they used to be better when run elsewhere - as suggested, MBWorld is a bit tame. Land Rover courses are much better.

Just going to throw it out there..........but if you think she'll prefer speed, I'd recommend a rally day. Its sort of 4x4, but involves bombing through fields instead of crawling through them. :D

Depends on what she'd prefer of course.

I hosted a corporate event at Land Rover in Solihull a few months ago - suggested by this very forum - and to say we had a great time would be an under statement!!
