A-Class - getting new key to work

Morning. I have my car back!

As part of my quest to have it completely replaced part by part I've had to invest in a new key. It turns the ignition fine but won't lock and unlock the doors.

Do I need to perform some alchemy or do a funny dance to get it to start working - any advice appreciated!

Sounds like the key hasn't been programmed properly - take it back to the stealer you got it from and get them to sort!!!
