A Class
Hi,

The rear wash on the back of my 2002 A Class is not putting the water on the rear screen but it is running out of the boot lid. I have cleaned the jets but either there is a blockage or the pipe has become detached.

Does anyone know how I get at it as it looks as though the boot lid has to come off but I'm sure there must be an easier way of accessing the door inards.

Any help gratfeully recveived please.

Many thanks

Just done this on our c class estate.

Need to pop the trim off, usually held in place with platic rivets round the outside edge.

Can you take a pic of the trim?

The hose will have come out of the connector, nozzle freezes and pressure pops the pipe off.
Slide it back in and cable tie it.

You carnt take the tailgate trim off on an A class where you need to as its at the top of the screen.
Remove washer jet, the pipe has probably blown off.
You can fish it out with some small hooks, can be very tricky & test patience.
I usually move the rubber boot that goes from car to tailgate aswell that some times move the pipe into view, it's blue plastic pipe, may have a black end to it.
