I've never understood all the fuss about winter tyres, partly because in bucks, we only get bad snow and ice for a week at the most. During the past few winters using carefull driving, I have been able to get around perfectly fine with my all season contis. The only time I have got stuck, is when I have had to stop on a hill because some idiot that cant drive has blocked the road.

So this year when the snow get's here, I'm going to fit these...

Whats the worst that can happen?

You'll get pulled for the tread extending past the wings.

Your neighbours are quite similar to the punters of the slaughtered lamb ......

that is so cool, i want to fit those to my van, what do i need to look for?

Need to fit them front and rear to get real street cred.

I think there might be a slight increase in road noise!, and i'm sure the speed rating (if they even have one) would be very low on dumper tyres but just imagine how smug you would be if it does snow :)

Now i wonder if there is a half track conversion kit on ebay?
