Noticed a low volume "clunk" coming from the engine bay when I change from 2nd to 3rd and sometines 3rd to 4th.... which made me suspect cv joints...
Its now making the same clunk at other times not just when changing gear... (not just when releasing clutch)

Is this a known problem - any ideas from my rather poor description what this could be ?
should I now think about selling ?
any thoughts/help much appreciated
